48 Hour film project
When Cal Art's 48-hour film festival streamed this September, I felt deeply inspired. This was a festival where students formed groups to make short films based on a selected prompt within 48 hours.
In these turbulent times, I have found it especially difficult to connect with my peers and gather inspiration to work. While I have always wanted to be a part of such events, this past year has not allowed for such agendas to be executed. Hence, I took it upon myself to work closely with my animator friends in order to have our own little film festival.
The roles I undertook as the managing head for this project involved gathering people, giving an overview of the process to each individual participant, and helping provide useful resources for beginner animators. Apart from this, I also assigned deadlines for the designated tasks.
